About Us

Hi I’m Kim! I’m a mom, wife, strength coach, yoga teacher and doula. When I’m not training, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and two boys. I opened Nyx Wellness to create a fitness space that takes us away from toxic diet and fitness culture and focuses on building the foundation for longevity. My mission is to help you develop a positive relationship with health and wellness. Starting from the ground up and taking a holistic approach that takes into account all parts of your life that might be barring you from completing your goals. We don’t do one size fits all programming, and I don’t want you to ‘go hard or go home’. I want you to be healthy, happy, mobile, and strong!

During my training career I have worked with a wide variety of clientele and because of this I have gained experience in training individuals who may have a variety of limitations or illnesses; such as cancer, Parkinson’s, MS, osteoporosis, joint issues, obesity, depression and more. I have been able to successfully guide my clients to reach their goals despite any obstacles present. I believe it is my attention to detail, education, experience and care for each client that brought such success.

I try to train with a wholistic approach. For a lot of clients it’s not easy to find the motivation to jump right into training full speed. I sit down with every client to go over not only their goals but also their personal history and day to day lives. This allows me to see a detailed picture of how I should train each client and what potential obstacles we may come across. By doing this I am able to create a highly individualized plan that includes physical fitness, nutrition and the mental/emotional side as well. My process is gradual, I meet each client where they are at and progress them in a safe and effective manner. I have found that if we go too hard too soon we often see burnout and a lack of motivation. I strive to be each of my clients own personal cheerleader and I come to know all of them on a deep personal level. I understand that we have to be genuine and real with our clients to gain their trust and help them build confidence in training.

“Honor where your body is today.”
